So you're looking into working at Seed Hawk but you wonder what kind of lifestyle can you expect in Southeast Saskatchewan?

This area is a fulfilling combination of rural living, abundant recreation and sporting activities, complete with no traffic and an opportunity to explore southeast Saskatchewan.

If you like getting out into the great outdoors, you will never have a dull day. Close to Seed Hawk you'll find Moose Mountain Provincial Park, with great camping and hiking, dense forest, boating, golf, tennis and the Kenosee water park with Superslides. Just south of the Provincial Park there's White Bear Lake Golf Course - an 18-hole championship course famous for it's white silica sand and white birch forest.

As summer comes to an end, the adventures continue. The environment around Seed Hawk's location is perfect for sledding, hunting, cross-country skiing and tobogganing. Take out a Ski Doo and hit the open plains. There are remarkable snowmobile trails from Kipling, through Broadview, and all the way up to Melville and Yorkton, going through both the pipestone and Qu'Appelle Valleys. You can also try your chance at ice fishing in one of the many nearby lakes. There are also many community recreation sports, such as curling and hockey, that offer both men's and ladies' teams. Join a team or simply enjoy watching the games; it's up to you. Our area towns are a fun and safe environment for you and your family.
